I turned this image sepia. I'm not sure, however, if that's an image that should be almost without color... just playing around with photoshop, trying to learn and improve.
And yes, that's me in Valle Verzasca where a river gave giant rocks very unique soft forms, creating ponds and cascades.
The problem with these pics is they were all made at sunset and they are really blue and blurrish. This one I tried to give some warmer colors without killing all the color...
Heute morgen hat es angefangen zu schneien und seitdem nicht mehr aufgehört. Die Sekretärin von meinem Chef musste mich sogar abholen, weil ich mit dem Scooter auf keinen Fall fahren konnte und danach nach Monte Carasso musste für eine Deutschstunde. Wir hatten eine kleine Konferenz und dann hat mich eine Kollegin nach Monte Carasso gefahren. Da waren die Strassen schon weiss.
Um 12 bin ich dann von Monte Carasso nach Hause gelaufen, da fuhren die Autos schon nur noch schritttempo und einige haben sogar angehalten. Und jetzt schneit es immer weiter. Die Katzen liegen nur faul auf dem Sofa und schlafen, der Momo fragt sich "Wieso schneit es jetzt auch hier unten?" (Er mag keinen Schnee, der ist ihm zu weiss!)
Irgendwie ist es immer wieder überraschend, dass es im Winter schneit, oder? Jedenfalls scheint nie jemand drauf vorbereitet zu sein... :)
Auf dem Rückweg habe ich jedenfalls jede Menge Scooterfahrer gesehen, die schneebedeckt mit beiden Füssen über den Boden schlitterten um nicht zu fallen. Jetzt sind Schneeketten angesagt und die Pässe sind alle zu. Ohne den San Gottardo Tunnel wären wir jetzt komplett vom Norden abgeschnitten.
I finally got myself a birthday present. It is a Wacom Bamboo grafical pad, which is basically a pen which you can use like the mouse but then it's much more acurate and you can actually paint on the screen! Here's my first trial made with Photoshop.
Tonight I tried another paint program, trying to create a room with an atmosphere. This is what came out of it. I figured out how to use several layers now, but I'm still nowhere near to what I can do with real paint and theoretically with a good paint program you can get even better...
Maybe this picture will remind you of an adventure game. I recently played one that was short but really well done: What makes you tick.
